The 65th Medical Group proudly provides and arranges for world-class healthcare to Team Lajes and all expeditionary forces. Two 65th MDG squadrons provide medical and dental services necessary to maintain the highest degree of readiness for the U.S. and allied forces operating in and through the Atlantic Region.
The 65th Medical Operations Squadron provides medical, dental, and preventive services; services include family practice, mental health, physical therapy, dentistry, acute care, 24-hour ambulance coverage, public health, optometry, bioenvironmental engineering, health promotions, occupational health and aerospace medicine.
The 65th Medical Support Squadron provides medical, dental, and preventive support services; provides clinical ancillary services, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, business operations, beneficiary services, personnel and administration, medical information systems, logistics and maintenance of war readiness materials.
